Reuben Colley wins award for 'Best Painting' at West Midlands Open

The West Midlands Open has become a regular feature on the region’s cultural scene.  Showcasing the best the area has to offer from practising artists. This is a biennial collaboration between Birmingham Museums Trust and Wolverhampton Art Gallery.

Reuben Colley had two paintings shortlisted for this exhibition, 'The Light at the End os the Tunnel' and 'The Bromford' both of which will hang in Wolverhampton Art Gallery until 5th January 2013.

This year’s eminent panel of judges includes Prof. Dew Harrison, Associate Dean of the University of Wolverhampton, Caroline Douglas, Head of the Arts Council Collection and Prof. David Rayson, artist, RCA tutor and curator. 

We are proud to announce that 'The Light at the End of the Tunnel' won the award for 'Best Painting' at this years exhibition.
