'Nicklin Unseen' launched at RCFA

'Nicklin Unseen' launched at RCFA
RCFA hosted the launch of a major exhibition on 1 October 2015.

'Nicklin Unseen' features the photographs of Phyllis Nicklin, who took thousands of photographs of Birmingham between the 1950s and 1970s. The photographs provide a unique record of the city during a period of massive change both in the built environment and in the make-up of Birmingham's community.

RCFA has sponsored this lottery-funded open-air exhibition, which has been erected in Snow Hill Square.  The exhibition has been mounted by Brumpic in collaboration with the University of Birmingham, Library of Birmingham and Colmore Business District.  The project will include a book and a film.
